CHARITY INTERCLUB DAY

This Sunday is our Charity Interclub Day , where we invite members of other clubs ( and anyone who rides their bike) to come and ride with us - a voluntary donation to charity is requested , but not essential to ride. We will have 10 ride leaders, with speeds varying from 12- 18mph ( distances 25-50 miles)- so just come on down to York Road in Kings Heath ( they'll be a coffee van there from 8.30, and rides will look to leave about 9ish). Sign on, is on the day so no need to pre-book anything.

We will have a cycling bric-a-brac stall with all proceeds going to charity ( so if you have anything you want to get rid of please bring it down)(, or if you are looking for a bargin come on down.

After the rides we will be holding a raffle , where again all profits go to our charity of the year St Vincent de Paul Society (England & Wales) which helps people on low income of all faiths and backgrounds.

So wear your club colours with pride, and bring along anyone you know who might fancy a ride out on Sunday morning.

Thanks again to Neil Cocklin for his amazing artwork.

GORILLA RACING

Paul Astin, came 2nd at the K1/10 this week in a blistering time of 22;56 ( his fastest of the season), Blake Timmins nearly got under the magic 25 minutes on a road bike and and Phil picked up his fastest time of the season ( an impressive 26;09). Good racing guys.
