WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE?
GRAND DAY OUT
The Grand Day Out was a great success with 36 riding the event - and only 1 DNF ( due to breaking his back mech hanger).
Thanks to:
Neil Cocklin for organising the route and the day
Eugene Vichare for the BBQ and hosting
Emma Lambert for all her baking
Rob Anderson for manning the first control
Catherine Vichare for all her food preparation for the BBQ
Lindsey Trivett for sorting the coffee van
Lee Brotherhood GOLF for sponsoring the post ride beers
Sarah Sprittles for riding the final re-con with Neil to make sure the route worked just fine.
James Brown for filming the event - I've stolen screen shots from his instagram reel here.
And thanks to those of you who rode the event on Saturday . Chapeau.
Our next club event is the Charity Interclub Day on Sunday 13th July - more details to follow later this week.
