WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE?

INTERCLUB DAY

We had an excellent turnout for our InterClub Day , we had approx 100 people turn out, including a great turn out from the club itself, and then riders from Beacon, Punjabi Cycle club, Brothers on Bikes, Cannon Hill, Moseley Missiles, and BRAT Club plus others who don't normally ride for clubs.

In the end we raised ,through voluntary donations and raffle ( thank you to Smoke and Ash, Emma Jackson Silversoles and other individuals who donated prizes) £570 for our charity of the year CALM. Thank you to Rob Anderson and Rob Garratt whom i heard ran things brilliantly.

GORILLA RACING

Joe Walker raced the crit over in Lichfield last Friday, and after trying to chase the break down came in a creditable 6th. Well done fella.

KOMs

The only strava crown i saw this week went to Mohammed Arif - chapeau.

GORILLA ENDURANCE

John Ramsden got the longest ride of the week , as far as i could see, with a ride of 208km to the South West. Big miles there John.

Also Ed Carver, Karl Andrews, and Chris Hurst (?) spent the weekend riding, what looked liked a very gruelling off road route in Scotland - The Badger Divide (210 miles - 340km) from Inverness to Glasgow. That looked tough in places!
