WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE?
GORILLA TEAM TIME TRIAL
Rob Anderson organised a great TTT handicap format over the Bank Holiday weekend with 11 x 4 person teams competing. Every team got under 30 minutes for the 10 mile course, with the fastest scratch time being 23;20 by Carl Pearson, Blake Timmins, James Brown and Graeme.
The fastest time, with all time bonus's/deductions taken into account was team Jones the Steam ( Mike Jones, Paul Jones, Siobhan Jones and Rob Anderson ).
The fastest time for a mixed team ( based on average of scratch and handicap) was team Chuff Chuff ( Sarah Damm , Julian Fawkes, David Lee and KJ Andrews
Rob also highlighted some brilliant individual performances:
Amanda Bracks Perrigo - 11th fastest time and first ever TT
Siobhan Jones first ever TT, and hardest ever ride according to her Strava!
Kate O'Malley first ever TT and in flat pedals.
Adam Arfa McCabe - became the local legend on the course with multiple team and solo efforts.
Well done to EVERYONE who took part.

GORILLA ENDURANCE
Paul May rode The Struggle 250km with 5000m of climbing around Yorkshire this weekend. That ride certainly had the most climbing this week, but wasn't the longest! Joe Walker rode 622km around Norfolk for Alzheimers Research UK over 25 hours of moving time in 22 degrees heat.
Well done to both of you - both amazing achievements.
