WHATS BEEN HAPPENING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE?

GORILLA SPRING CLASSIC

It is the second Gorilla Spring Classic later this month - on the weekend of 28th - 29th March with a slightly gentler route this year to ease you into the warmer months.

GPX is now available to download via the events section of the website. Also there you will find the sign up sheet where you will find teams looking for riders, and riders looking to be part of 3 people teams. You will need to nominate a leader for the team so Stuart John Bulloch can check your total elapsed time - including an obligatory 30 minute stop at a destination of your choice on route. Several excellent cafes and pubs near or just off route this year that Neil Cocklin has signposted on the website.

A team photo will be needed to be submitted whilst out on course and prizes will be given for various categories.

GORILLA ENDURANCE

James Gillies rode the 209km down to Newport at the weekend, and Neil Ashton has COMPLETED BIRMINGHAM on Wandrer - that means that Neil has cycled EVERY ROAD IN BIRMINGHAM - Mind Blown! Well done guys.

THURSDAY RIDES

The rides for Thursday are now up on the ride sign up section of the website - head over there to book on. If it's your first time use the coupon code FREERIDE26 to get a free weeks trial. This week , leaving the Hare & Hounds at 6.30pm, we have:

Graeme leading a 18-19mph group out to Fen End

Malbec leading the 17-18mph group on a flat 25 miler

Oliver Agar is doing the same for the 16-17mph group.

Harry is taking the 15-16mphers down some chilled lanes.

In the morning , at 9.30am, we have Craig Munro taking the Thursday Gravel Club over to Waseley.
