The hill climb was a great success with 36 riders taking part in this FUN event this weekend - there were some fantastic performances : David Lee was leading on Saturday evening and came 4th overall in the end on the 3 hills course , and that's after a car nearly took him out turning into Ickneild street off Weatheroak , and he'd bloodied his hand whilst indicating into Wast Hill ! Rob Garratt came 2nd overall, with David BB putting a massive effort for 3rd. Also special mentions for Chris Hurst , and Harry G on the 3 hills challenge .Matt M was one of only 5 riders to go under 4 minutes up the steepest climb of the day Ickneild street , and Susie put in a great effort up Lea End lane ( despite being hungover). But there must be winners in a competition, and the recipients of the Steven Nelson Gradient Sign Trophies are:
