GORILLA ENDURANCE
But whilst some of the club were racing over 13.5km, some were doing much longer rides..
Ant Stewart rode the Fred Whitton on Sunday - possibly the hardest 1 day sportive in the country - 3500m ( 11500ft) of climbing over 180km ( 110 miles) , including going over Wrynose , Hardknot, Rhino's and Honister pass! Good work fella.
Neil Cocklin got the train to Bristol then road a 200km back to Birmingham, taking in the final part of the Grand Day Out - our next club event on 28th June ( mark your diaries) . The route is now dialled in, so Neil's now sorting the patches and brevet cards for the event. Thank you for all the effort you are, and have , put into this.
