WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE?

CHRISTMAS SOCIAL

We had a great turnout , and some excellent Christmas jumpers and sparkly tops on show at the Christmas social last Friday. Thankyou to Stuart John Bulloch for organising, and for Schooners for hosting. Thanks also to Bruce Chapman for some great photos - check out our instagram for more photos of the event.

GORILLA ENDURANCE

This week it was James Gillies who was putting in the big miles, doing a 200km ride on Saturday out West.

This coming Saturday - the 13th December - is the start of our new monthly endurance series - The 200 Club. Although the 200 group is full, there are still some spaces on Adam's 100km route for those that fancy it - just book on , as normal, via our website.

QOM

The only Strava crown i spotted this week was from Kelly Baker - chapeau.

If i've missed you, please do let us know in the comments below.

GORILLA ZWIFT

Our regular Wednesday evening group Zwift ride this week is on the London circuit - departing 6.30pm with the band on to keep us all together. If you miss the start, the band won't pick you up, and you'll have to exit the meet up and re-join to be put into the group. Eugene Vichare has set everything up, just head over to the Zwift companion app, check out our club events and add yourself in.

THURSDAY RIDES

Plenty of choice this week - head over to the members area to book on ( if it's your first time use the coupon code FREERIDE25 for free rides for the rest of the year.). In brief we have:

Damo leading an 18mph group out to Fen End.

Malbec leading a 17mph group for a tour of the Christmas lights.

Harry leading the 16mph group on a flat spin out to Hockley.

Gareth leading a 15mph group to do a bit of Strava Art around The Tidbury Star.

Helen leading a 14mph group out to Lapworth - a great one if you haven't ridden in the dark, with a group before.

And Paul is leading an off road group around a new route this week.

See you on Thursday.

Ride safe

Bruno
