WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE?

GORILLA AUTUMN CLASSIC

The Autumn Classic proved to be a huge success with multiple groups out on the road on Sunday , mostly, following the 140km route given. Stopping a various coffee shops and bars along the route - including somewhere with a friendly cat ( I have never seen so many ride photos including a pussy cat before). Thanks to David Morton and Richard Bates for sorting the route.

GORILLA SOCIALS

This Friday - 26th September - is the unofficial end of Summer social - starting at 4pm at GlassHouse Beer Co and continuing on til late.

Also don't forget that the Gorilla Christmas Social will be on Friday 5th December - make a note in your diaries. More details nearer the time.

HILL CLIMBING

Scott Hamblett took 2nd place in the Beacon Roads Cycling Club Winwood Heath Hill climb at the weekend in an unofficial time of 3;53 for the 1km course, that gained 110m.

CYCLOCROSS

Chris Mapp took 7th place in the V40 category at the West Midlands Cyclo-Cross League (WMCCL) in Shropshire on Sunday.

18-19mph led by Steve - out to Bushwood via the Old Warwick road.

19-20mph led by Blake - a bash through Beoley.
