NEW CLUB KIT

We have new club kit to order NOW. Head over to the club kit section , in the members area of our website to check it out. The order window closes on 15th September, for a start November delivery. New items are:

Long sleeve jersey ( same fabric as short sleeve jersey - ideal for under a jacket, or for spring/autumn riding) £60

Gilet ( will be black on front an back - graphic showing a grey colour to depict a different fabric between front and back) £45.00

Arm warmers £15.00

S/S Base layer ( same sizing as S/S jersey) £25.00

Also if you missed out first time around, there is another chance top buy our short sleeve jersey, buff and cap.

I will bring samples down on Thursday evening for people to check out after the rides. The specs are in the shop, but please note these relate to body size, not garment measurements due to the stretchy nature of the fabrics used.

GORILLA RACING

Scott Hamblett raced the Stout Hill Hill climb, his 3rd event of the year, and placed 7th overall. Good work mate.

Still involving bicycling, but a bit extra..

Craig Gale and Adam Gale raced the Oulton Park Sprint Duathlon , with Craig winning , and Adam taking silver. Well done lads.

Meanwhile in Turkey Rachel Brown and Rachel Webster were racing the European age group triathlon champs. Rachel Brown came 9th in her age group for the standard distance, and Rachel Webster came 6th in her age group for the sprint. Congratulations both.

EVENTS

Don't forget the Gorilla Autumn Classic is on the weekend of 20/21st September, a 90 mile route down to the Cotswolds taking in, if you want, Snow's Hill and Saintbury Hill ( sightly shorter if you don't fancy the 2nd hill) . The full route to download and details are in the Club Event section in the members area of the website. With plenty of places to stop and jelly babies promised on Sunday morning at the top of the climbs it should be a great day out, and a perfect end to your Summer of cycling.

Also on Sunday 14th September between 10- 1pm there is a community cycling event ( not organised by us) as part of the first ever Birmingham Suicide Prevention Week. It starts by the Ikon gallery, it's only 7 miles.
