Our tame journalist Jack Evans will be in conversation with Dr Sarah Ruggins – one of the most inspiring voices in endurance sport, on Tuesday 31st March from 7-10pm at Venue 2 at the Hare & Hounds.
From rebuilding her life after serious illness to becoming a record-breaking ultra-endurance cyclist, Sarah’s story will take you inside her extraordinary John o’Groats–Land’s End–John o’Groats world record ride, and her preparation for her next World Record breaking event later this year.

The Gear Shop Club shop to buy our club kit is open - it will until mid March to take orders for anyone who wants any kit. Once the window closes the manufacturing time is 6 weeks - so you should get any kit ordered by end April.

CYCLING STRENGTH WORK SHOP WITH ACHIEVE FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
There's still space on these cyclist specific strength work shops, where you'll learn how to:
• Identify key cycling muscles that drive power, stability, and endurance on the bike
• Understand the biomechanics behind common cycling injuries and how to prevent them
• Perform targeted strength exercises proven to improve pedal efficiency and overall resilience
• Build core and hip strength to enhance posture and control during rides
• Develop a progressive strength routine you can integrate into your weekly training plan.
The workshops blend education and movement , and you'll leave with an insight into how to enhance your strengths and improve on your weakness.
Feel free to attend one of both of these sessions as each one will cover slightly different topics and be tailored to the group.
The Two sessions will both take place at Achieve Functional Fitness (Moseley Rugby Club) between 19:30-21:00 and are priced at £15/ person/ session.

GORILLA ZWIFT
Our regular Wednesday Gorilla Zwift session this week will be 2 laps ( 34km - or approx 1 hour) round the Greater London Flat circuit. We start at 6.30pm, and the band is on to keep everyone together. Book on via the Zwift companion app, in the Gorilla Cycling Club section.

Malbec's 17-18mph Winter Loop variant.
Harry G's 16-17mph lumpy Fiery/Twatling loop.
Ollie's flat 16-17mph trip out to Dorridge.
Rob's 14-16mph flat route out to Hockley.
And then at 9.30am we have Dr Craig's muddy off road Gravel Club ride out to Sandwell Valley.
