WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE?
TRANSCONTINENTAL
Well you can see form the photo below that John Pears completed the Transcontinental - 4800km in 16 days, 18 hours and 36 minutes. He came 104th ( i think), inside the final time cut. Some people are still out there..... WELL DONE MATE!
GORILLA ENDURANCE
Jack Morrie Evans rode the Light at the End of the Tunnel - a 207km gravel audax around the Peak district. Looked amazing. Good work fella.
GORILLA HILL CLIMBS
There's been a couple of Hill Climbs recently. Last Tuesday was the Royal Sutton Hill Climb on the K32 Maxstoke climb - raced by Kelly Murphy , Lee Holton, Paul Astin and Phil Hood. Unfortunately i can't read the writing on the finishers sheet to give you the times!! Sorry.
But on Sunday , on a slightly different Maxstoke climb, the BMC hill climb was won by Scott Hamblett in 4;40, with Paul Astin 5th with 5;10.
Well done to everyone who raced this week.
