'March, master of winds, bright minstrel and marshal of storms that enkindle the season they smite'
…wrote Algernon Charles Swinburne in his Ode to March. Seems all too familiar, thinking back to past March rides, especially for those of us who suffered and enjoyed the Hare in equal measure in the late 2010s. This March, however, we'll be making sure you aren't alone on the road with a 3-rider event to conquer our own ode to March, the Hare, and the Classics. There will be hills, scenery and inevitably wind and showers on this westward jaunt.
Basic Rules (more to follow):
There is an obligatory 30-minute stop wherever you choose en-route, whether a cafe, brewery, or petrol station.
You can do the event at any point over the weekend.
A team photo is a must.
There will be kudos and even prizes for the most impressive team performance (Committee's Choice) and men's, mixed, and women's FKTs. Not really a competition per se, with the real valor to be found in enjoying and completing the ride to the best of the team's ability and looking after one another throughout. Tactics will no doubt come into play, using team members wisely, and luck will undoubtedly wield its fickle wand; but ultimately, as Tom Boonen once said, "Sometimes you don't need a plan, you just need big balls!".

Headover to the sign up sheet and add your team to the list.
If you are a pair looking for a third or if you are a lonely heart looking for love, put your name down and what sort of ride you are looking for. Hopefully we can get everyone linked up with a team.
